Courses

The courses comprise a theoretical part (seminar) in which the students read scientific papers to deepen the topics of the lecture and to lay the foundation for their project. In the second half of the term, student groups (3-4 people) are implementing a specific solution applying their knowledge about InfoVis solutions. The specific topics will be announced at the beginning of the course. At the end of the term, each group is presenting their results in a 20 minutes talk with an additional demonstration. The solution shall be described in a short document.

The award for the best course project was given to group B "Geo-referenced Data" with Wolfgang Büschel, Sebastian Kleinau, Thomas Matzdorf, and Jana Schumann. Congratulations!
