GPU-Accelerated Ray Casting of
Implicit surfaces are a popular surface representation for the modeling
and animation of organic shapes and natural phe- nomena. We present a
novel GPU ray casting engine for the direct and efficient visualization
of node or skeleton-based distance surfaces.
